UG UAE today released Version 1.0 of UG Cortex, the firm's intelligence and operations software platform. The release introduces modular extensions to the platform's core domains and updates the system's audit, access control, and second-factor architecture.

UG Cortex is built for operators by operators. The platform is the firm's system of record for in-flight engagements and is licensed selectively to qualified clients. The release is delivered to existing clients on the firm's standard maintenance schedule and is available to new clients under the firm's standard licensing terms.

The release includes:

  • Extensions to the platform's intelligence, field operations, logistics, and analytic domains, delivered as independently activatable modules.
  • Continued tightening of the platform's access control surface, including session-bound second-factor verification on privileged operations.
  • Audit-log integrity improvements across the platform's mutation surface.
  • Selected user-facing improvements to the operator console.

The release does not introduce a new threat model. The platform's stance on data residency, key custody, and tenant isolation is unchanged.

"The platform's job is to be quiet, correct, and fast," said a spokesperson for UG UAE. "Releases are incremental on purpose. Operators do not want surprises in the system of record."

UG Cortex is not sold as a general-purpose product. The platform is licensed to clients who pass the firm's acceptance review and who are prepared to operate it within the constraints set by the Charter.

UG UAE does not comment on individual deployments, client identities, or engagement-specific configurations.
