UG UAE today reported the expansion of development capacity within its Defense Technology division. The division designs, builds, and fields counter-UAS and adjacent drone-domain capabilities for the firm's operators and for qualified external clients.
The expansion includes additional engineering capacity in the United Arab Emirates, extended laboratory and integration facilities, and the completion of further independent verification rounds with civil aviation authorities and accredited test ranges.
The verification rounds covered detection, classification, and mitigation across the threat profiles the division currently supports. Results are filed with the relevant authorities. The firm does not publish system specifications, engagement data, or client-specific deployment information.
"The work is incremental," said a spokesperson for UG UAE. "Detection improves. Classification improves. Mitigation stays proportional. The standard is whether the system performs in the field, under load, against the threat that is actually present."
The Defense Technology division operates under the firm's Charter. Sales are governed by the firm's client acceptance policy and by applicable export control regimes. UG UAE declines work that cannot be conducted within those frames.
