Function: Field Operations Location: Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with deployment to client sites and travel routes worldwide. Rotational assignments are standard.
01.Summary
Protective Specialists conduct close-protection details and movement planning for principals operating across complex jurisdictions. The role is professional, low-profile, and deliberately discreet; the standard is that the principal's day proceeds as planned and nothing remarkable happens.
02.What you will do
- Plan and execute protective details for principals during travel, public engagements, and routine movement.
- Conduct route reconnaissance, venue surveys, and threat assessments in advance of each assignment.
- Coordinate with local providers, hotel and venue security, and aviation handlers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Drive principals and their parties under defensive-driving protocols appropriate to the operating environment.
- Provide immediate medical response within the limits of the operator's certification, and coordinate handoff to local emergency services.
- Maintain detailed after-action reporting on each detail through UG Cortex.
- Operate within the firm's strict rules on conduct, discretion, and information-handling.
03.What we look for
- Prior service in a protective, military, or law-enforcement role, or equivalent professional experience in executive protection.
- Recognised close-protection certification valid in at least one major operating jurisdiction.
- Defensive and evasive driving qualifications; multi-jurisdictional driving licences strongly preferred.
- Current advanced first-aid or pre-hospital trauma certification (for example, FPOS-I, MIRA, or equivalent).
- Working proficiency in English and at least one additional language relevant to a UG operating region.
- Discretion, situational awareness, and absolute reliability with confidential information.
- Clean personal record consistent with the firm's standards; no public profile inconsistent with low-visibility work.
04.Vetting
All offers are conditional on successful background screening conducted in accordance with the law of the candidate's hiring jurisdiction. Screening includes verification of prior service and employment, criminal-record checks, sanctions and adverse-media review, financial probity checks, medical fitness assessment, and structured reference interviews. Operators are subject to recurring screening throughout their tenure.
