Function: Advisory & Investigations Location: Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with travel to client sites for sensitive engagements.
01.Summary
The Advisory & Investigations practice handles the firm's most consequential client engagements: digital investigations, incident response, internal misconduct enquiries, and cross-border disputes. We are hiring a senior lead to run engagements end-to-end and to contribute to the practice's growth.
02.What you will do
- Lead client engagements from intake through delivery, including scoping, fee negotiation, staffing, and final reporting.
- Run digital investigations covering forensic acquisition, preservation, analysis, and chain-of-custody documentation to a litigation-ready standard.
- Direct incident-response engagements, including containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons-learned reporting.
- Work alongside outside counsel and serve as a credible expert in regulatory and legal proceedings where required.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders, including general counsel, audit committees, and CISOs.
- Contribute to the practice's intellectual capital through internal playbooks and selective external publication.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop junior investigators and responders.
03.What we look for
- Eight or more years in digital investigations, incident response, or a closely adjacent field, including time in a senior client-facing role.
- Recognised certifications appropriate to the discipline (for example, GCFA, GNFA, GCIH, CISSP, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated familiarity with the regulatory landscape across multiple jurisdictions, including data-protection, financial-services, and disclosure regimes.
- Track record of leading sensitive engagements where the client's reputation, legal position, or operating licence was at stake.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to brief boards and write under privilege.
- Sound commercial judgement; ability to scope, price, and deliver against a defended fee.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
04.Vetting
All offers are conditional on successful background screening conducted in accordance with the law of the candidate's hiring jurisdiction. Screening includes verification of prior employment and education, professional-history confirmation through independent referees, criminal-record checks, sanctions and adverse-media review, financial probity checks, and conflict-of-interest disclosures. The Lead is subject to enhanced and recurring screening given the sensitivity of practice engagements.
